A true premiere - the first time together on stage

For the second edition of the OPEN JAZZ FESTIVAL, two outstanding musicians have formed a unique duo: Oliver Potratz, recently relocated from Berlin to Vienna and the new head of the jazz department at the MUK Vienna, and the versatile singer Golnar Shahyar, who for years has been bridging the gap between jazz and improvised music with her unmistakably virtuosic voice. Together they create an intimate soundscape in which bass and voice interact, intertwine, and constantly generate new stories – spontaneous, profound, virtuosic, and full of expressiveness.
