The first edition of OPEN JAZZ VIENNA is themed “Open Up” and thus celebrates the artistic openness, diversity and cross-genre character of the current jazz scenes in Europe.
Jazz has become an open and genre-crossing art form. The Austrian jazz scene is also at the forefront of the international scene and will form the basis of the OPEN JAZZ VIENNA program.
"We are creating a new music festival based in Vienna that opens doors to the world. We are demonstrating that Austrian and international artists must share the same stage in the world of jazz."
